• Sapelo Island Environmental Education Professional Development – Join us on the secluded island of Sapelo in the Golden Isles of south Georgia. This immersive, five-day experience equips Hamilton County teachers with the tools they need to implement hands-on scientific learning in their own classrooms.
  • Nature Educator Workshop (pre-k – 8th grade) – Get your students outside the classroom with exciting outdoor-based curricula. WaterWays will introduce and teach some of our favorite activities from programs such as Project Wet, Project Learning Tree, Project Wild, Growing up Wild, and BEETLES to help educators connect their students with the outdoors!
  • Intro to Water Quality and  Macroinvertebrate Surveys Workshop (4th- 12th grade) – This is what WaterWays does best! Join us in the water to discover the difference between water chemistry sampling and a macroinvertebrate survey and what they tell us about the health of our aquatic ecosystems. Learn ways to incorporate aquatic ecosystems into your lesson plans and hit your target science standards!
