The WaterWays Endowment: The Sustainability Fund

WaterWays celebrates 20 years! To celebrate WaterWays’ success and ensure the long term sustainability of our work, the Board of Directors has established an endowment fund, the “WaterWays Sustainability Fund.” Our new endowment fund is managed by the Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga. Long time board member Robert Blenker is excited to be able offer the first gift of stock to kick off the fund. In a testament to the enduring support of our community, another of our generous supporters has enthusiastically embraced our endowment fund and issued a remarkable matching challenge of up to $100,000, so you can double your impact!

Other Ways To Give

Donor Advised Funds

A Donor-Advised Fund, or DAF, is an investment account where all the assets you invest go to charity. Click here.

Gifts of Stock

There are many benefits to donating stock, both for you and for WaterWays.

IRA Charitable Rollover

People 70.5 and older can donate funds from their IRA accounts directly to qualifying nonprofits.

Corporate Matching

Some employers offer gift-matching programs for qualified charities, meaning they’ll match the amount of your donation up to a certain amount. This can effectively double your contribution!

Gifts in Memorial

There are ways you can donate to charity that extend beyond your lifetime. One of these is to name a nonprofit organization as a beneficiary in your last will and testament.

Volunteer

WaterWays would not be where we are today without our amazing volunteers! Your support helps us extend our reach and maximize our impact in the region. Check out our volunteer opportunities or join the Friends of WaterWays.
