WaterWays was delighted to celebrate the “Race for the Laurel Dace” in Spring City. This inaugural event was hosted by the Tennessee Aquarium and Tennessee Aquarium Conservation Institute. We commend Spring City and our friends at the aquarium for their commitment to restoration and conservation of this adorable fish species. We also got to meet up with our friends from other wonderful and like-minded organizations like Ivy Academy and Tennessee Environmental Education Association. We are already adding the event to our calendar for next year!
